 Environmental impact. Can such a monumental event like the SAVE THE WORLD AWARDS be
eco-friendly? To a certain extent: yes. Each event has its own environmental impact – from
energy consumption to waste disposal. Each element of the SAVE THE WORLD AWARDS production
will be reviewed and concepts developed to make it environmentally-friendly in order to
limit the carbon footprint of the event to a bare minimum. This includes employing:
- Native energy sources
- Organic and local catering
- Sustainable sanitation solutions
- Recyclable paper solutions
- Composting
- rganic décor, living plants
- Green procurement/supply stream management etc.
These are all key elements toward a carbon-balanced event. The awards will be as green as
they can be.
