Zwentendorf in Austria is the only nuclear power
plant in the world actually completed but mothballed before it was ever put into
operation. In 1978 the Austrian people, in a nationwide referendum, decided against
employing nuclear power in their country. Today, Zwentendorf serves as a unique
memorial as well as a symbol that the peoples will should always be above any political
interests. For the first SAVE THE WORLD AWARDS this incredible location will be
opened to the public for the first time in 30 years. Two stages, six monumental
screens and LED walls with the nuclear power plant as backdrop guarantee a highly
emotional experience.

Every action counts. We can’t stop the global carbon-dioxide
emissions with an awards show. We can’t end hunger and poverty. However, what we
can do is inspire millions of people around the globe and motivate them to do their
share in order to make our world a better and more sustainable place. We believe
that the future is not something that will just happen, but rather is our creation.
We all bear responsibility for the future of our planet. Only together can we solve
the pressing problems of the 21st century. We will raise awareness for vital global
challenges and present ideas for solutions to improving our world now and for future
generations.

Environmental impact. Can such a monumental event like the SAVE THE WORLD
AWARDS be eco-friendly? To a certain extent: yes. Each event has its own environmental
impact – from energy consumption to waste disposal. Each element of the SAVE
THE WORLD AWARDS production will be reviewed and concepts developed to make
it environmentally-friendly in order to decrease the carbon footprint of the
event. Together with Austria's first green agency, Prima Vista, which developed
a master plan for sustainable events in order to minimize their ecological impact,
